Orders may be subject to product availability, payment authorization, delivery requirements, and applicable safety or regulatory considerations.
6. Is an online order automatically accepted?
Not necessarily.
Submitting an order or request does not always mean that the order has been accepted.
California Propane may need to verify product availability, customer information, delivery requirements, payment, or other transaction details before accepting and fulfilling an order.
An order is considered accepted when California Propane confirms acceptance or otherwise begins fulfillment, subject to applicable law.
7. What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods may vary depending on the product, service, order, and purchasing method.
The payment methods available for a particular transaction will be displayed or communicated during the applicable purchasing process.

Customers should never send sensitive payment credentials through ordinary email, social media messages, or other unofficial communication channels.
9. Do prices include delivery charges?
Delivery or service charges may vary depending on factors such as the product, delivery location, order quantity, and applicable delivery requirements.
Any applicable charges that can reasonably be determined before purchase will be displayed or communicated during the purchasing process.
For more information, please see our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
10. Where does California Propane deliver?
Delivery availability depends on the product, delivery address, service area, scheduling availability, and applicable safety or regulatory requirements.
Not every product is necessarily available for delivery to every location.
Customers should provide their complete delivery address so that delivery availability can be confirmed.
11. How long does delivery take?
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, delivery location, scheduling, order volume, weather, road conditions, safety considerations, and other operational circumstances.
Any delivery timeframe provided during the purchasing process or in an order communication should be treated as the applicable estimate for that transaction unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly confirmed.
For more information, see our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
12. Can I choose my delivery date?
Where scheduled delivery is available, California Propane may work with the customer to arrange an appropriate delivery date or timeframe.
Scheduling is subject to availability, product requirements, delivery capacity, and other applicable conditions.
Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they need to change an agreed delivery schedule.
13. What happens if I am not available for delivery?
If customer availability is required and no one is available at the agreed delivery time, the delivery may need to be rescheduled.
Customers should contact California Propane as soon as possible if they know they will not be available.
Depending on the circumstances, additional delivery or rescheduling charges may apply where permitted and properly communicated.
14. What happens if my delivery is delayed?
Although we make reasonable efforts to meet applicable delivery estimates, delays can occur because of weather, traffic, product availability, safety requirements, vehicle or equipment issues, supply interruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a material delay becomes known to us, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant information to the customer.
15. Can I cancel my order?
Customers may request cancellation as soon as possible after placing an order.
Whether cancellation is possible depends on the status of the order.
Orders that have not entered processing or fulfillment may generally be easier to cancel. Once an order has been prepared, scheduled, dispatched, or delivered, different conditions may apply.
Please see our Cancellation Policy for complete information.
16. Can I cancel a scheduled propane delivery?
You should contact California Propane as soon as possible if you need to cancel a scheduled delivery.
The ability to cancel may depend on how close the request is to the scheduled delivery time and whether the order has already entered fulfillment.
17. Can I return a product?
Eligible products may be returned subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
Because certain propane products, fuel products, cylinders, containers, and related materials may have safety, transportation, handling, or regulatory restrictions, not every product will necessarily be eligible for return.
Always contact California Propane before returning a product.
18. Can I return propane through a regular shipping service?
Do not independently ship or transport propane, fuel, pressurized containers, hazardous materials, or other regulated products without receiving appropriate instructions.
These products may be subject to specific transportation and handling requirements.
Contact California Propane before attempting to return such a product.
19. What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact California Propane as soon as reasonably possible and provide information about the damage.
Photographs, order information, and delivery documentation may help us assess the issue.
Do not attempt to repair, dismantle, modify, or otherwise alter a damaged propane product or related equipment.
We will review the circumstances and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
20. What if I received the wrong product?

21. Are products covered by a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies by product.
Where a manufacturer or California Propane warranty applies, the applicable warranty terms will determine the coverage, duration, exclusions, and available remedies.

This may include:

23. What should I do if I smell propane?
Treat a suspected propane leak as an emergency.
Leave the area immediately and avoid flames, sparks, electrical switches, telephones, vehicles, or other potential ignition sources in the suspected leak area.
Move to a safe location and contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified propane professional.
Do not attempt to locate or repair the leak yourself unless you are appropriately qualified and authorized.
24. Can I repair propane equipment myself?
You should not attempt propane-system work that requires professional qualifications, authorization, permits, or specialized knowledge.
This may include installation, gas-line work, leak investigation, appliance servicing, equipment modification, or certain repairs.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and obtain assistance from an appropriately qualified professional where required.
25. How should propane be stored?
Propane cylinders and containers should be stored in accordance with applicable laws, fire codes, manufacturer instructions, and safety requirements.
Storage requirements can vary depending on container size, quantity, location, building type, and other circumstances.
Do not store propane in a location that is prohibited or unsafe.
26. What if my propane cylinder or container appears damaged?
Do not use a propane cylinder or container that appears damaged, severely corroded, leaking, or otherwise unsafe.
Do not attempt to repair or modify it.
Move away from any immediate hazard and contact an appropriately qualified propane professional for guidance.
If there is an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service from a safe location.
27. What is carbon monoxide?
Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless gas that can be produced when fuel-burning appliances do not operate or vent properly.
